This presentation focuses on the potential role of EHR’s unstructured data in identifying frailty markers and improving the prediction of utilization outcomes. It will:

  • Introduce the Center of Population Health IT at Johns Hopkins
  • Provide an overview of top R&D challenges and opportunities in risk stratification
  • Present research on using EHR’s free-text for risk stratification of the geriatric population.
