Yanyan Lu is a senior data analyst/project lead at Johns Hopkins Health Care (JHHC). She earned her BS in environment science and MS in statistics. Yanyan joined JHHC as a biostatistician in 2010. Since then, she has expanded her knowledge and experience with health care data from a variety of sources, including claims, care management system and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) data. Yanyan has provided analytic and statistical expertise for population health management. She developed risk prediction models for several initiatives to identify patients at high risk of health care utilization or cost, and she conducted the cost and quality evaluation for population health management initiatives.
