Module 2 – ACG System Markers

In Module 2 you will learn more about the ACG System Markers and how the system’s statistically valid, case-mix methodology allows health care providers, organizations, and public-sector agencies to describe and predict a population’s past or future health care costs. By the end of this Module, you will:

• Understand each Marker’s role in the ACG System
• Understand how Adjusted Clinical Groups make up the building blocks of the ACG system Methodology
• Understand how Expanded Diagnosis Clusters are used to identify populations
• Be prepared to use the ACG Coordination Markers to build a comprehensive picture of coordination of care.
